Next Local 86 regular meeting will be September 21, Thursday 7pm at the Labor Temple, 2800 1st Ave, Seattle. No meeting in August.

We regret to inform you that Gerrit (Gary) Willis, Book #662800, passed away on July 21, 2006. He was born on March 20, 1939. Brother Willis joined Iron Workers Local 86 in 1960. A Celebration of Life is being planned for the Everett area. Update when details become available.

We regret to inform you that Travis Watts, Book #1275674, passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2006. He was born on December 20, 1974. Brother Watts joined the Iron Workers Local 14 on March 14, 2000. Travis was working at the Microsoft Data Storage Complex project in Quincy Washington for the Erection Company. Services are scheduled for 1:00pm Wednesday at Cathedral of Joy, 1153 Gage Blvd, Richland.

On Wednesday September 6, to maintain your name on the out of work list, you must come to the hiring hall and sign-in between 7am and 9am. Sign in will be declared complete at 9am. Sign in by phone is not an option.
