June 26 Monday morning at dispatch there will be a need for rodmen in Tacoma

Next Local 86 regular meeting will be July 20, Thursday 7pm at the Labor
Temple, 2800 1st Ave, Seattle. No meeting in August.
Eric Gustafson requests that you sign the Immigration Reform Proposal
Petition when you come to the hall on sign in day July 5th. The petition is
also available at the dues window and in the hiring hall. For details

On Wednesday July 5, to maintain your name on the out of work list, you must
come to the hiring hall and sign-in between 7am and 9am. Sign in will be
declared complete at 9am. Sign in by phone is not an option. If you will be
unable to come to the hiring hall on Wednesday, you may fax #206.439.1069 or
email tabiggins@hotmail.com your request to remain on the out of work list
on Monday July 3 or Tuesday July 4. Members that do not sign in will be
removed from the out of work list and will be required to contact dispatch
to have their name placed back on the list.
Change is inevitable except from vending machines.
Tacoma Narrows Constructors will be placing work orders for dual shield
welders for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. There will be an onsite test per D1.5
in the 3G & 4G positions. One inch plate, metal backing, E71-T1, .045, 75-25
shielding gas, visual and xray. Welders will be joining deck sections and
plates with dual shield into ceramic backup and automatic submerged arc.
